The DBIDS Gate Access Control system is experiencing data issues. These issues impacts some ID cards making them not scan correctly, thus not giving the gate guard the proper Access Granted. It is a wide-spread issue, and the errors are not consistent everywhere.
The DES at Yongsan has instructed the gate guards that when these errors occur, to look at the Expiration Date on the ID and use it as a flash-pass to allow entry.
